For starters, I completely forgot to top the loin with some of the onions a cheese.. but oh well, it happens! It’s is all about the trial and error baby. Even though I forgot the toppings, this pork loin was one of my favorite recipes! TBH I could just eat the onions by themselves because they were THAT good! I would highly recommend this to someone who has a lot of time on their hands because this recipe took me a while!
Okay, so I had a MASSIVE pork loin. It couldn’t even fit in a pan to brown it, but I still succeeded… barely. I would say use this recipe with a smaller loin and save yourself some time and dirty pots. With that being said, I would definitely use more seasoning than the recipe called for, plus onion powder, paprika and sub regular salt for garlic salt. For this recipe, you can use beef stock or chicken stock + beef bouillon- tastes about the same. OH, also season the onions with garlic salt and pepper.
