Brownies… but make it Sourdough!

I haven’t met someone who doesn’t love brownies. With the pandemic that hit at the beginning of last year, a lot of people hopped on the sourdough train. I know I did! So, this is where we are. This recipe is by far produced the best fudgy, rich and decadent brownie that’ll fill you up with one square, but have you craving more. I literally crave these all the time!

Now for this recipe, it calls for vegetable oil but these ones have canola oil in them since I thought we had veggie oil, but we didn’t. SO, I improvised. With the canola oil, I found that the top of the brownies came out softer and more box-like whereas the veggie oil creates a crispy top. Either are just as good! I also decided to throw some espresso powder (about a teaspoon) to help bring out the chocolate flavor and I would say it really worked!
